...tell me if a 1965 Austrian ("Osterreich Republik") 5 Schilling contains any silver, and if so, how much? I came across one today in XF/AU condition in a whole junk set of world coins, and it has that 'silver' look to it. Thanks in advance! :D

It says 0.6400 silver and weight .1070 oz. value $2.00 in XF...maybe a bit more in the latest ed.

Thanks! I love how you can usually tell if there's silver just by that look. I think it's actually more on the AU end than XF, but either way, it's a nice coin and I nice little find. There wasn't much else in the bag worth looking at except for a 1955 Canadian cent that was sadly NOT a "no strap" variety and a 1947 Franco-era Spanish one peso in F condition.
