    this must be way rare.... this is a hard to find one.. I was amazed when I pulled it out of circulation IMG_20130316_181455.jpg IMG_20130316_181505.jpg IMG_20130316_181512.jpg IMG_20130316_181522.jpg IMG_20130316_181532.jpg yapper's peppers ,,, great Rosie 1999 p reverse error missing layer.. awesome find... what yall think worth slabbing?????

    are you sure the reverse isn't just toned?

    Doesn't appear to be a lamination error. It looks toned as Lime said.

    Could well be a missing layer... there's a few on the 'Bay right now, and the BIN pricing varies between $30 and $200, depending on grade. Obviously, a coin like this needs to be slabbed, as there are many examples that appear to be missing a layer, when in fact they're not.

    that was the first thing I did its really missing the clad layer..... I have one pcgs certified its a great coin...

    Exactly how did you "check it"? It looks too pale to be missing the clad layer, and after nearly 14 years in circulation, the copper would have darkened like a Lincoln cent would.
