    Hi,

Do you know if 1936 Canada nickel 1936 like the right one is common?

I have lot of 1922-1936 nickel but they all look like the left one (matt, no brightness)

The right one is very bright... look like 70's quarters. Is exist different nickel variety?

The one on left may not have any original luster, but I think your right coin might be dipped/cleaned cause with that many dings that luster is abnormal... but im no expert.

    Hi Petro89,

It's a possibility. There are lot of scratches on this coin. Profound scratch look bright too. It's interesting... sure :)

    Thank you!

    Hi Conder101,

Maybe "plated" but there are lot of bright and profound scratches... it's weird. "Polished"... i don't think you can have a mirror effect with "dull nickel". Normaly, nickel look like light to dark grey on my 1922-1936 5c coins.

    Thank you!

    CDNum.
