I bought a 1921 peace dollar and I'm suspicious that it may be a fake. I know I preach about not buying uncertified coins, but I took a chance today and bought one. Can anybody tell just by looking at the pictures provided by the seller if it is a fake? Thanks.
if you thought the coin might be a fake then why did you even buy it in the first place? it is too difficult to be sure about the coin from these photos.
It was an afterthought. I am able to return it if I want to, so I'm not that concerned about it, I just wanted to know what everyone else thought about it.
Why do you think it's fake? The images are truly horrible, but it just looks like a lightly circulated and polished coin.
