Help!, No idea what the new notes I was given are!

    ok guys was given these today by my coin dealer, he wasn't sure what they were but in he own defense he does not do world currency. He threw 5 of these in with my purchases today as "extras"
    Hoping one of you guys can save me a trip to the library to look it up :D
    Printed on only 1 side, this is the best of the 5 I have others have bent corners or folds but this one near perfect condition.

    Looks like a 10 million mark hyperinflationary note from post-wwI Germany. Hope someone else chimes in with more detailed info! :eek:

    def german cuz of eagle symbol, and i dont know german but if it a 10 million mark note, id guess its a note from weimer republic

    According to the catalog:

    Vf = 5.00 usd

    unc = 10.00 usd



    In reality, I`d say they`ll go 1-2 USD for VF, 4-6 USD for UNC.

    It is interesting that you can trace the fall of the german mark based on the date of the issue of the currency from 1921 to 1923. Notes like these, notgeld (emergency money), and German bonds from 1922 and 1923 are quite common.
