Did you get magnetic or nonmagnetic cents? (i guess you probably won't know until they come in). Last year when they first came out I picked up two rolls of each type.
Well mine came in yesterday. Trying to gauge the market. I know they are sold out for online ordering and the only way to get the few that are left is to buy them in person at the few locations around canada that have them. What price do you guys think they will settle in at for the 2nd in the series? My original though was to wait until #3 was about to release, but I have a purchase I want to make now and could use the funds.
I was looking at that. I was surprised how high the prices were for them a month ago when they hadn't even shipped yet and people were "preordering" them and they were still available at the mint. It may go up on eBay, may see if there is an interest in the BST forum here before resorting to the uncertainty that is FeeBay. Not had a good run of luck selling things on there lately. Lost my ass on some PCGS Graded ATB quarters and then again on a couple of PCGS graded Ikes. :rollling:
You choose the starting bid and/or BIN price. So there is no reason to ever lose your ass. If you sell for $50 on ebay, you'll get about $41 back after fees and shipping. I've seen them being offered on forums for about $40 recently. They might go up in price. There are less being offered now. And when the new one comes out there will presumably be some renewed interest. You get the profits now and reload with something else, or hold on for an extra $10-$25 a year from now.
I just sold 3 of mine for $45 each plus $6 shipping, once my 2012 arrives from downies I'll be listing one set with both 2012-2013, they're cool but i don't know if it's a long term winner, IMO
The first one is still going for about $100 in ebay. Don't know if the second will get there. I was thinking of selling one of my 3 I got (second one) but at $50 I may not.
