1944 S Double Die - holy cow!

    OK folks if this isnt a double die, I quit (no really, I will just be very sad)

    Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

    It is machine doubling. Notice how the doubling is flat and shelf-like.
    Keep up the hunt!

    P.S. the correct term is doubled ​die.
