Here's the problem. likely it has been searched so it rules out the uniqueness of not being searched. If it truly has been unsearched, one wouldn't be able to really enjoy it cause to do so would mean destroying what makes it special to begin with, it beibg unsearched because you'd have to break it open.

I don't think it looks like that because it was opened, I think it looks like that because he did not have a crimper that large when he originally rolled them. My guess is that he purchased some paper rolls and is attempting to deceive people, just like he does with his "unsearched" cent rolls that mysteriously have CWT and 3 cent pieces on the ends....

The seller is not trustworthy IMO...

It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever not to search something like this. Would you be willing to take the chance that there is not an 1889cc, 1893s, 1895s, 1892s, or an 1879 cc in there? Im surely not, as soon as that roll had first come into my posession it would have been opened. THE SELLER IF LOOKING TO FIND A SUCKER AS ONE IS BORN EVERY MINUTE.

Ya, I feel the same. It just looks too good to be true with the ends the way they are. And believe me, if I had gotten a hold of a roll with an 1884 showing on the end that I was certain had never been opened, I would tear that sucker open just to see what treasures it held!!! No doubt in my mind. Yes, leaving it sealed might bring more money 10 years down the road, but my curiosity would not let me keep it that long. I will be waiting to see who falls for the bait, and then I want to send the person an email and ask them what they found in the roll if they opened it.

    Same seller...
Don't miss out , for only 349.00 you can get an indian head penny on the end on an " unsearched roll ". I wonder if he will throw that in for the winning big on the morgan " roll".

There is one feedback for the seller on Ebay that probably sums-up this auction. This is what the feedback states:
Another rip-off- scam these pre packaged rolls-no more than fraud unsearched...

all of his negative and neutral feedback mention his rolls being a fraud. i would never trust any seller on ebay advertising unsearched rolls

    But...but - if they're 'unsearched' how can he know it's a scam? :dead-horse:

I don't even think the bidiots on eBay are foolish enough to bite on this one. You can find better deals on "The Coin Vault"

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

It was reported it to Ebay, and now it is re-listed. It is an obvious fake, as I have never heard of "mixed, unsearched rolls." This is a classic re-rolling situation.
