    TJC: Nice coin. What makes you say it is from the mint at Lugdunum? If I understand correctly (big if),
    If this is true, then it looks like your coin may have been struck at Cologne. Regardless, it's a very nice coin.

    Oh, and BTW, :welcome:

    Nice coin...Yours is in better shape than mine (especially on the reverse) but I liked the portrait which is always a bigger concern for me.

    I own two Postumus, and, like Drusus, I bought mainly for the obverse portrait rather than the reverse

    Nice coins all. It really is incongruous how you can sometimes get stunning portraits on the obverse of certain Roman issues, coupled with stick-figure reverses.

    My coin is the third of this type shown here so far and all have different dies. They share what I'd call an odd reverse portrait of Hercules showing the face a bit too large compared to the head it is on. Or, another way to see it, is the back of the head just small?

    SKI=echizento?

    Mat, Drusus, Bing, and Doug your Postumus's look great!:loud::devil::bart:

    Bing, I got the Lugdunum mint from wildwinds under RIC 67 in the "text" section. They have it marked Lugdunum but they or I could be wrong. Where is your reference from?

    Thank you all for your replies! :smile
