which coin has the most attractive reverse

    which coin has the best reverse--my contender is the gb halfcrown 1820 george iv--with the crowned garnished shield scan0022.jpg scan0013.jpg see the thistle scotland,shamrock ireland,rose england but why no wales

    I love the reverse on Australia 50 cent pice with the kangaroo and flamingo.

    Well it won't come as a surprise that I choose Germany.
    For me it's a toss up between the Empire coinage, or the Federal Republic 5 mark (bottom right).

    I suppose my favorite coin is generally my most recent acquisition. I've intentionally posted a small image of this one, to give you an idea of the amount of detail on the reverse that the engraver included. It's a heck of a lot of complexity on a 15mm coin, all rendered by hand...
