    fretboard Defender of Old Coinage!

Hey friends, it's not a coin it's actually a table or presentation medal. Approximate size is 1/8th thickness and around 1" and 7/8ths inches across. Looks to be made of zinc or magnesium. It has that feel of a breakable type of metal. Here's the questions I have on it. What country is it from, approx age? And what is the guy on the obverse doing? :D Appreciate any and all. :thumb:

The man depicted is Chinese and doing some sort of Zazen (meditation).

The characters in a square on the bottom of the second picture are Chinese characters and possibly the signature of the designer as that is often how signatures are written.

    I know that's all vague but it's a start.

I would suspect that it is a medal rather than a coin. Perhaps a temple token?

It is a souvenir of China's Terracotta Army displaying a chariot driver similar to this or this.

The reverse side displays two very stylized dragons.

    Chariot. I stand corrected. Thanks.
