1969-D sealed penny bag

Someone responded to my craigslist ad and told me he had a sealed bag of Pennies from the mint, is it worth more than $50 face value?

$250 or more if what is claimed. IMO. But that would change if opened at all.

You can probably get them for $150-175, maybe even less. Just be sure that you examine the stitching very closely, with a loupe if need be. People have been known to open and resew them, so you want to make sure that the thread lines up with the original holes.
