1971 D Half Dollar DDO ?

Hey guys i think this could be a DDO FS-102 let me know what you think.

Your half dollar is not the 71D DDO-006 (FS-102), the U in TRUST doesn’t match, among other things. I compared your half to everything in my collection and it doesn’t match anything. I don’t have the 71D DDO-010 and 011, but you could look at your reverse and see if it matches one of those. I think you have minor doubling, and what your photos shows on the date looks like MDD.

I am about 99% sure Larry right as for MD!!!:thumb:
but theirs always that 1% that Photo can hide.

 

Hey thanks guys for looking at my coin you and members here have a wealth of knowledge that i love to tap,just in case that 1 % that might be hidden i have more photos to post.One of the markers for this variety is the four serifs on the lower part of I in IN is it possible that circulation wear has caused some of the serifs to be damaged and not show up well on photos.I will check to see if this coin matches 010 and 011.
