So I went to a high school basketball game last night a ways from home so while we were waiting for the first game to get over I jumped on CL to see if there was anything good. First listing, 2 1/2 rolls of V nickels, and a roll of wheat pennies. The add said $14, so I emailed him asking if they were still for sale. He sent me a text and said yes I asked him if he could drop them off at the game, he said he was too lazy..... Seriously he said that. So after the game I sent him a text asking to meet somewhere. He then informed me the price was now $25 for the rolls since they were selling for a lot on eBay. I said fine, met up and I was very happy when I got home and looked through them.

Any saving the 1901? Looks to be EF+

For doubling the price I would have made him meet you at the game....what a putz.

    Nice pick-up though.

Thats not a bad price, most dealers around here where I live would pay 25 cents a nickel in bulk like that anyway. plus you found a 10S, that is a winner in my book.

Glad you are happy with them.
But he's a putz for doubling the price after an agreement was made.
