If it's a 1 mark coin, the mint mark will be (two times actually) below the eagle. See here http://www.emuenzen.de/verkauf/bild..._Kaiserreich_Kleinmuenzen+sonstige/20024g.jpg for example ... Christian
Thanks. It was the "two times" that threw me off, I thought it was part of the design. IIRC, it was a "J" (Hamburg?)
Yes, the "J" is the Hamburg mint mark. In the Deutsches Reich, Berlin (A) had the biggest production share, so usually (not always of course) A will be less expensive than others. The 1 Mark 1907 J is not expensive either, except in very high grades which are rare ... Christian
This not a new buy. Here my 1932 Danzig coin I got in Berlin Gemany 1979-80 KM#115 @ the time I paid $100.00 marks Exchange rate 2.8 mark per 1.00 US dollar. cell jello.
A few additions to my 8 Reales Madness set just came back from PCGS. The 1810 is one of the few remaining varieties of Fernando VII armored bust series that have been tracking down. It's an HJ/TH over-assayer. Struck with some beat-up late-state dies, as well. The other two are just a couple of somewhat common dates.
These aren't new, I've had them for awhile. I have never taken any pics of them. I answered somebody's ad in the wanted forum and figured I would post the pics here, as well. I know nothing about them, except they are good looking coins. I really like the designs on them. 70's Bahama Proofs 70's Jamaican proofs
Yes, a nice coin, and the central hole does not "disturb" the design. Blends in fine so to say. Christian
