Walking into my local store and found a dansco 7070, except this one has all 6 pages most have 5. I'm happy I found one.
Good score. Cost me 40 off ebay and about 3 weeks to find that one. I pulled a Washington Quarters 1932-1998 from an antique store for $12 not too long ago.
Does anyone know if the 6 page carries a premium over the 5 pager. Most on eBay that sell for 75ish are only 5 pages. These albums were discontinued.
I would gladly get rid of my page six. Don't have a single coin in that page and at the rate of pay versus value of gold it will continue to stay that way.
Here you go. I am sure few Dansco 7070 can be found at local coin shop. I found one yesterday and it's still in factory wrap.
Let me get this straight: we've now gone from coin collecting to coin album collecting? I thought coins were bad enough on our wallets...
Why not? I'd love to get my hands on some of those old Library of Coins albums. Of course...I'd fill them up with coins.
haha Pi, my thoughts exactly. I would love to try to fill one of those (minus the gold) but I mean 30-40$? That could be a nice Franklin or even a Morgan to add to my collection!
It's MORE than worth it for the 7070. Really a very nice album and I figure if I'm gonna spend upwards of 100 bucks on a coin I may as well drop another 30-40 and get a really nice album for it (and the many others lol). I waited to get mine until I got a 20 cent piece, but when my now ex-gf got me one for Christmas a couple years ago the first thing I did was find a 7070.
The album is totally worth it. I just think it's funny how not even a year ago I bought my 7070 for $24.99 and the gold page off of Ebay for $6.
