The first one MAY be a split planchet. The other one a cut-- outside the mint.
Hard to tell, but probably not worth the money to find out.
I think that both are damage, after leaving the mint.

No question about the second one. I would place the odds ay about 98.765 to 1 that the first one is also damaged.
