Both $125, which would you pick? I think the seated might grade as a 35/40

Just based on attractiveness TO ME, I would go with the half dollar. I like that color on circulated silver. The Trade dollar is rather splotchy for my tastes.

I'm a seller, and if I was buying one for resale I'd buy the trade dollar at 125. Those are great collector prices for both coins, however. But I think I could make a little more $ selling the trade dollar.

With those images, I wouldn't buy either for $125.

It was a quick on the fly kind of picture. I ended up getting both. Here's better pictures of both.

Trade dollars are heavily counterfeited so a higher grade, genuine specimen is a nice pickup (imo). Presumably it didn't grade due to the chopmarks. Chopmarks are a part of the history of the trade dollar and add character to the coin...but that's just my opinion...others may consider it "damaged goods".

Wow! Much better pics! Now I'm a buyer of both for 125! Well done!

Deff would have got both of them but if I had to choose I'd pick the half

Maybe he's Chinese and it's too hard for him to add his chop when it is in the slab.

Really like those seated halves with Rays. Nice looking specimen there.

I'd say better than vf on the half, maybe xf.
