Hey all, I don't have access to my home computer with Track & Price right now. I was wondering if anyone can tell me the number of known notes of FR. 275 and FR. 279? Thanks!
I don't have T&P, but here are PMG & PCGS's pop reports if that helps at all: PMG: Fr 275 = 222 Fr 279 = 142 PCGS: Fr 275 = 155 Fr 279 = 93
The only problem with the TPG's (PMG & PCGS) population reports is that some of the same notes are counted in each others population reports because of registry owners and others that cut notes out of PMG holders and submit the same note to PCGS and vice versa.
Thanks everyone. I was trying to decide between two chiefs. Fr. 275 in 53 grade Or Fr. 279 in 63 grade. I ended up going with the Fr. 275 in 53 grade. The price on the 63 was good for the grade, but it isn't a ppq/eqp. The price on the 53 is about average market price. In fact the paper looks better on the 53 than it does on the 63. Interestingly, I was checking out auction records on HA and it seems that the 275 was getting higher prices than 279. I guess people aren't really collecting chiefs with all signature combinations. They just take what they can get. I think it's evidenced by little variation of price between different signatures.
