Two main reasons why it happens. 1 - the people buying the AT coins think they are pretty and don't care if they are AT or not 2 - the people buying the AT coins think that they can turn around and sell them for even more money to some gullible person
Wrong. You're missing the biggest reason. They're dipping the tarnish out of these when they get them. At least, on the silvers. Then, they're submitting them, and they're grading. You know. Like in the old days? They're not dumb, Doug. They're a jump ahead of everybody, here.
When I want to view some nice rainbow looking colors, I buy me some Lucky Charms! They don't last long though..
Yeah, I didn't think of that, that's probably very true. There are folks who are buying these "AT" coins and dipping the tarnish out of them, though, I know that.
