Today, I bought (1) $25.00 Box of pennies and, typically, I'll find between 5 and 20 wheat's in a box, but today's box, from TD Bank, had 82 wheaties, with the oldest being a 1914, and quite a few in the '30's. Also, found another 644 pre-82 (1959-81) pennies and 31 Canadian (98% copper) pennies with the oldest being 1943. So, the entire box was 30% copper. Since the middle of January, I've been buying 1 or 2 boxes a week, and this was one of my best boxes. Just wondering if anyone else gets boxes like this and if it's typical or not?

  10. going to be going to the bank tomorrow to get my first box of halves. i was thinking about checking them at the bank while i am there with my dad, he wants to see what its about. now can anyone help with some coins i should be looking out for ? what years i need for silver coins ? hoping the bank can pick them up fast. but they were very enthusiastic about me coming in and doing a box, im so excited !

Had an older lady come in tonight with a roll of dollars. Opened them expecting some worn Sacs or PD's, but instead was greeted by the most gorgeous Sac's I've ever seen in my life. Got the 10x loupe out on them when I got home and seriously can't find but one or two marks on each coin, and they aren't distracting whatsoever. Most Sacs I see have turned that ugly brown/gold color but these are absolutely gorgeous. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow when I have time.

Went into a WF and asked for halves. The teller I was dealing with said she had "alot" of them. I only had $35 on me because I was on my way to dump coins so I got 3 rolls and $5.00 loose. The $5.00 loose was skunk and the rolls were the oldest things I've seen in some time. Those were also skunk, they have just been getting searched and cashed into different banks using the same wrapper time and time again. I'll go and clean them out this weekend if they still have them and dump them all into a Penny Arcade so I won't be bothered with them again.

Well, Thursday I was able to find a box of Halves since I don't schedule Thursday pickups and I grabbed a box of dimes just in case.
    Box #49 of Halves: Skunk

    Box #4 of dimes: 1-roosie!

I DID IT! 30 oz of silver for the month of February!:hail:

    February Totals: $26,500 searched
    117-40%, 34-90% and 6 dimes
30 oz of silver is a new record month for me. That triples my previous monthly record!
