Thanks for playin' ... I merely thought that it might be kinda fun (plus, I am always curious which one of my babies you think is the cutest!!)

 

That's one tough choice. I'm going to have to think about it for while before I vote.

 

I'll list my choices for favorite to least favorite... Although they are all amazing, there are levels of Awesomeness!

1) #3 (If I had the cash, I would have paid more than you did [prolly])

Well, since one of these coins will get the fewest votes, I think you should just toss it out of your collection. My address is.......

 

Well...if I absolutely had to have one of those coins for my collection, it would be the Caracalla - not because it's better than the others, but because I only collect Imperial at the moment, as far as Romans go. The Lucius Axius would be my second because of the reverse design.

 

Easy the caracalla. The overall type, look, tone. Its the best of the bunch.

Jerry, don't get a complex about coin #1. It's a fantastic coin, but that Caracalla is like Joe Montana vs Ed "too tall" Jones (I'm old school). They're both great, but one has more fans. I dunno if that makes any since to anyone but me.

I keep going round-n-round ... originally, I liked #2 the best (the ol' elephant shield is hard to beat) ... but Caracalla really is a pretty high-end coin ... ummmm, but then there is Santa and the creepy Frankenstein Reindeers!! ... oh, and the ship is very cool too!! ..... rats => I forgot all about the gorgon shield!!

=> yah, I think I did quite well picking those babies ... I love 'em all!!


.... oooppps ... I just accidentally got talked into buying "another" coin (eh-heh-heh, it didn't take too much talkin' to get me to pull the trigger)

=> I'm gonna start another thread and then go and watch Game of Thrones with my hot wife (life doesn't get any better than that!!)
