    Ummm, although I have great love for this coin, I fear that you may turn on this meager offering? (I hope not, for I absolutely love the Reverse!!)

    Either way, it has been an absolute pleasure showing-off my 5 new coins!!

    238-244 A.D.
    Dated CY 303 (AD 239/40)
    Diameter: 26 mm
    Weight: 13.34 grams
    Obverse: Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right
    Reverse: Galley left with captain, seven oarsmen, and steersman on deck; ΓT (date) below
    Reference: Spijkerman 93; Rosenberger 90; SNG ANS 1332-8

    I love Ancient Boats... In fact, it was a similar coin to this that helped find how these were built!

    Friday night is slow around these parts, Steve. Don't take it personally.

    What I do know about this coin is that it's tough in good grades, and you've got one of the best reverses I've seen. Actually, I haven't seen a better one offered recently, overall. Bravo yet again!

    Are you kidding me? You think no one cares about this coin? That is a great coin with a wonderful reverse. It's Friday night you putz. It's always slow on Fridays. Sometimes it seems I'm the only one around on Fridays making me think I have no life other than the computer and CT. Well, maybe.

    Big and bold, you have out done yourself, very awesome, as a boat lover here in the NW, i have a thing for boats, i wonder what the standard is on the stern, Chi-rho... probably not, way cool...:thumb::thumb:..just remember we out West get on last to the big show, its only 8:30...
