Lately I bought 100 half dollar coin flips, for 5 bucks. If you dont know, I recently got a 1993 S Washington Quarter, and I ran out of flips. Most of my coins are in half dollar flips including dimes, and its annoying as they can move alot and are uncomfortable to show. Is there any other method of organizing coins, or should I buy 100 half flips, 100 quarter flips, 100 dime flips, 100 nickel flips, 100 cent flips, and 100 dollar flips?

which do you suggest for holding my coins with, there not valuable, each one is mabye worth 5 dollars or so(of my coins), I just want each piece to be safely storaged.
I don't have much experience with the different brand 2x2's. I think I bought the Canadian ones listed on their web page because they said they were the most popular and have been the industry standard for years, and they're working well for me. Not too much cardboard dust on the insides, easy to fold and staple, etc. The only complaint I might have is I'd like the holes to be slightly bigger. For example, on quarters, I can't see the reeding at all. I'd prefer to have about 1/16" between the coin's edge and the cardboard. All of the cardboard 2x2's from JP's are PVC free.
sorry for being off topic, but why do you not put them in regular flips instead of the cardboard? less time stapling and you dont have to worry about possibly scratching the coin with a staple if you take it out. i usually put in a a piece of paper on the other side of the flip if there is any info i want to write down

Same here... I got tired of having to buy different sized cardboard flips all the time. I switched to the stiff, PVC-free type and haven't looked back since. Do a search on eBay for SAFlips or Safe-T-Flips... they're not too expensive really, especially if you buy the no-name brands. And staples go nowhere near my coins, ever!!!
you can go to your lcs and dig around their dumpster looking for old flips. pull the staples out, and your good to go. you guys just throw your money away.

One thing I do is just buy nickel size instead of both that and penny. It's very close so there's no point in buying both.
2 X 2 Flips I don't know the correct terminology (if there is such a thing), but I always thought of and refered to 2 X 2's as the cardboard ones that had a sheet of Mylar to sandwich the coin and flips as the plastic (once again Mylar or polyester) "pocket" pouches to put coins in. One of the things i have done is to put the coin in a 2 X 2 and then put the 2 X 2 in a plastic slide page. As long as it is in the page, the coin is protected, and if I want to take it out, it isn't stapled, so the coin can be removed easily.
