    The photos are extraordinary. But I have a hard time appreciating VAMs.

    Thanks for the comments on the pictures. I just hold a compact digital camera (4 megapixels) up to the lens of a microscope, no flash, lamp near the coin, and take a few pictures. It shoots at low speeds and my hands aren't always steady, but digital pictures are cheap.

    REALLY REALLY nice pics!!!

    As you may remember, I owned the 2nd known "Beauty Mark" Vam that you submitted to Leroy. I had owned it for a long time, but you found it first. Mine being an NGC MS64, at least I had the finast known!!!!

    I like your passion in finding the vams. I have the older QX-3 for close-ups. What do you use?

    Became a Life member of the SSDC this year...........
