    Hi All,

I am contemplating on buying tomorrow my first box of nickels, but I really dont know what to look for as far as dates except for the War Nickel. Can someone shed some light on what dates I should look for or am I wasting my time with nickels?

    Thank you
    John

    Nickels are awesome!
You can do a quick search about key date jeffersons. 1950d is the holy grail though. You can also find proofs, Buffalo, and Liberty's.

Basically any proofs, 2009's, and pre-1960 nickels, including wars, liberties, buffaloes, and key dates (as mentioned above me). :smile

Get a lot, they're very easy to search through quickly.

You won't find the amount of silver that you do with halves but there are so many cool things you can find that it makes it worth while IMO.

Have fun with those nickels! I'm hooked on halves and nickels at the moment.
