Worth anything? And is it worth posting pictures off? Its about 20 % off as a rotated die, mabye 30 %. Is it worth any premium?

    Thanks, Honest

It's probably worth a small premium. I see them selling anywhere from $9 to $250 on FeeBay.

It's something that could be a lot better if it wasn't for all the darn fees.

Can you give me a small price range, because 9-250 is quite wide. What is this 20-25 % rotated die kennedy half dollar worth as it sits, as a Au55-Au58 piece.

The $9 coins are ungraded in AU/BU condition.

    The $250 coin was a silver 1976 graded MS67.

There aren't too many of them that have sold on ebay recently. There are a few that didn't sell. Two of them were a 1980 and a 1981 with 15 degree rotations, each listed at 4.95 with 2.95 shipping.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'd probably give you more than $1-2 for it because its worth more than that to me as a conversation piece. (This isn't an offer, I'm just sayin')

If you have an ebay account, I say wait for one of their free listing promotions and list it for whatever price you want to ask for it. The worst that will happen is it doesn't sell and you'll have wasted a few minutes of your time.

You may get more if you list it as 340 degrees rotation, instead of 20 degrees.

Or, maybe it's a Kennedy half that was mistakenly minted in medal orientation and is off by 160 degrees.

I cant sell it, and ebay would give me more fees than profit. i put it in a 2x2 coin flip, and just go on. (dang, I really wish I could sell all my coins like this that i dont really like, but a dealer only buys silver, and ebay, is loaded with fees.. Im too young to go to a coin show, or be a coin dealer. Any tips?)

I know its rotation is about 25 degrees.

Go on feebay and check for completed listings and you'll get an estimate of its market value.

You got the right idea. Put these kind of coins in flips and stash them away. Someday in the future you may a quite a few of them. Then you can sell them as a lot, or simply keep them as conversation pieces.

I put every single coin (that I find in change) that has small defects, slighty off-center, slight misaligned, small cuds, die cracks, etc.. and I throw them in container. Why? no idea.

Magician's coins are apt to come rotated. We got a few of those. Let's see it. I don't know that I've seen a genuine rotated Kennedy, although I'm sure they're possible. At least, what's the year and mint?

If you want to sell it, post it up in the advertising section at the bottom of the home page/forum. It's free, nothing to loose.
