Hey Ya'll Today I have looked at more than 65 pages on ebay....most of the time when searching for a coin one ebay say a Washington Quarter I go to the quarter part---the other day I tried...the Collections, and Lots... http://coins.listings.ebay.com/Coin...W0QQfromZR4QQsacatZ525QQsocmdZListingItemList And found alot of good deals...it seems that some sellers lists their coins there and not in any other place and they get pushed down on the page with all of the spamers on there---you know the type that says that they have 1000000000000+ Wheat Cents and there might be a key date----well look around as I've found alot of good coins at just a small part of the price they are selling for normaly....I'm working on a set of AU/BU Washington Quarters and I'm hoping to get a good many of them slabbed---tonight I won a good many BU slabbed Washington Quarter just a fraction of the price they normal sell for... Check out that area and I think you will find some good deals---I thought about keeping it to myself but remembered that friends don't keep secrets! :smile :hatch: Speedy
It's an interesting section. I didn't know about this. There might be a few deals hiding among the junk. Thanks.
Yeah, in addition to the "Collections and Lots" category, note that people don't always place things in the right place. For example... Currency Some people seem to confuse "large and small bills" with their denomination, not the physical size. So you have things like $500 notes placed in the large category, and things like a 1907 $5 Woodchopper placed in the small category. Coins Placed just about anywhere, but especially confusing for older, silver world coins. Sometimes placed in World Silver, or bullion, or ??? Also, U.S. coins seems to be often misplaced in various areas. When searching for Seated Halves, you'll find Walkers and Barbers, etc. Descriptions Key words either non-existent (harder to find, but that's the advantage I suppose) or misspelled.
last night I won about $200 worth of coins in there for under $80! One of the coins I won I got for $26 and there is one on Heritage right now still going up and it was at $89 last night! Speedy
I have had good results searching for 'Quater' and 'Dolar'. I don't feel guilty, because all i am doing is upping the bid on the item.
I note a couple of previously unknown (at least to me) grading services too... "Gallery Grading Services" and "U N C" (I guess that doesn't mean "Uncirculated" in that case. But yes, it does seem like there are some interesting, and legitimate, items out there.
