First off this is a dateless buff. It could be a 1927 from looking at it but cant be fore sure. anyways this looks like a die rotation. How much do you think its rotated and is this common at all?
I have a couple of Buffalos with partially rotated dies like that. I kind of doubt they would have any premium. From what I've heard, die rotations are usually only worth a premium if they are over 90 degrees. I found a dime that was almost rotated 150 degrees and sold it for $15, but I don't think such a small amount would be valuable.
I have a bunch of Buffs with rotated dies too - it seems from my sample size (a couple hundred) that small die rotations were very common. My $.02 (or .05):smile
