Last week a guy I always buy silver from had a few Morgans. I have got some real nice Morgans from him in the past but last week he put a couple Carson City Morgans in the mix this 1881 and a 83 and two 78's one real nice and one worn one, the nice one I gave him a a lot more for, now this coin has some wear to it but hey for spot I will take all the CC Morgans he has and he does have some nice CC coins but real pricey for the Nice Ones. Here is a pic of the 1881 CC I got let Me know what you think for $24. What grade would this be?

Yea when he said he had a few CC in the mix I did not figure it would be a 81, but when I seen it I said yea I'll take the batch LOL He sells off coins that he has had for years when he gets low on Money and I'm happy to take them. He is a good Guy. I had the coin shop here in town want to buy My 78"s I got from him, but hey this was the best score.

Well a New Twist to My score.

I stopped by the coin shop I do business with today and the owner was there, I told him what I had bought and what I payed for it and he offered Me $300 for it or $300 in trade for a 1881 MS 60 or 61 He has, plus $140 I took the trade. It is a real nice coin. It has a couple marks or scratches on the front but a nice CC coin. Tomorrow I will pick it up from the shop as I did not have the coin with me today only photo's of it on My phone.
I think this will be a nice upgrade for My collection of Carson City Morgans.

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

That sounds pretty fair. I think $300 in allowance for that coin is high for sure, but a low grade MS (60-61) on an 81CC should be about $400-450 maximum. He's giving you a good deal.

Yea he wanted $440 for it and it is a real nice coin much nicer then the one I have. I think it will make a nice coin for My collection, I think he did right by Me.
I buy a lot of Junk and ASE from them. I will post a photo of it tomorrow after I get home.
