Hi, I wanted to know if this shows doubling or die deterioration doubling? The words GOD WE look thick and the letters LIBER in LIBERTY look like there might be something going on there. Thanks for the help!
There is a 1972-D DDO Coin but I'm not sure that your's is it. The doubling youi see above the hair is simple die deterioration doubling. 1972 DID have Master Die Doubling which shows primarily on the T and Y of LIBERTY. The 1972-D DDO Kennedy primarily shows doubling in the Motto. Notching on the I and N and G of the left motto and a large spread of the right side motto.
I'm just not seeing the PUPs for a DDO, but close-ups would help. I see some die deterioration and perhaps machine doubling.

I don’t see any doubling on your 72D, but I do see MDD on TRUST and the date in your photos. Larry Nienaber
