I got this in a mint set. The defect is small but quite obvious. There appears to be a slight indent

around it. I haven't seen posts anywhere about a die gouge on this mintage. Any guesses?

    Thanks, Bob

looks like mechanical doubling? Im not good on errors, so wait for some people who know what they are really talking about.

It looks like a die gouge or a linear die dent.

Thanks. After looking at a picture of a die dent on an Oregon satin finish on the CONECA site, I can see the same surface condtion surrounding the mark appearing as a slight indent.

This coin is in a mint set I ordered from the mint on the release date and shipped a couple days later. Figured someone else would have reported it sooner which is why I considered it a possible inclusion.
