Found 1st Walker

    3" below the surface in my front yard near a fence that blocks an old path to the cars. I found my first silver. A 1942 Walking Liberty half dollar!!! P022313_1411.jpg
    It came out of the ground this clean.

    I gottta buy/rent a detector. the house I'm in is from 1894 and was built as a B&B rooming house. had 2 dining rooms open for the public and rooms to rent on the 2nd & 3rd floors. thousands of poeople must have been in & out over the years and a lot of money changed hands. I always think about the change that must be under the steps and in the yard.
