Penny Arcade is the coin counting machine here in the NorthEast. When you open them up there is typically coins stuck on the magnet inside or stuck on the counting wheel. I would consider that the guts and what Darch is talking about.

    Strange 1974 Half

Check this thing out, it's not silver, it really does not seem to be plated or chromed out. I think it was struck on a planchet intended for a different coin? I'm really hoping for some feedback on this thing. It weighs 12 grams and is thick (as you can see) like a proof. The reeding to me looks similar to a US Half but also it looks different because of the thickness of the coin.

    Box #31 of Halves: 1-40%, 1-90%
    Box #32 of Halves: 3-40% (Including a 1968S Proof!), 1-90%
    Box #33 of Halves: 5-40%, 2-Bennies!

Bank gave me these boxes from Brinks that are a different color. First think I thought of was that they are indexing their process to take out the silver. Nope! Just a new pallet, I guess. These are Brinks boxes (cubes) with yellow lettering as opposed to the old brown lettering.

A name I made up for the internal section of the Penny Arcade coin counting machine. I guess it could technically be a reject, but it's not found in the actual reject bin or slot. I've ended up with a few Ikes of someone's previous dump this way because you can hear that something is still spinning around in the machine after counting everything you've dumped. Penny does not accept Ikes because of their size. I ask the teller to open up "Penny's guts" to see what's still in there.

My dump bank has named their coin counter "The Money Muncher".

    I suppose... :D
It's OK though, the tellers 'trust me'. Plus, I kinda laid them on the counter and walked out the door, so I couldn't really be a threat...

Went to go pick up my two boxes of halves today. They did not order them because the head teller was out last week. I asked the other tellers to have them ordered but I guess they dropped the ball. I either have to go pick up a bunch of dimes to make up for it or I can take the weekend off.....nah, that does not sound like a good idea. I'm going to scramble and get what I can for dimes tonight and try and get some more silver.

"If we have them, we will sell them", the vault teller told me. I didn't even need to trade! About half through $330 and have 2 roosies. I'll finish up after work!

Got shut down on using coin machines at my dump banks. Called the big boss and they said I can bring in rolls so I'm going to bombard them with rolls. Where do you guys get your bulk half rolls from?? Man I'm mad! The big boss over all the branches I was using said I could bring in small amounts I said like how much is that? She replies like 20 dollars worth!!

Before I found banks that let me drop off bags - I dropped 50 bucks and bought cases of them off ebay I think - impossible to get enough wrappers just from hitting banks

Got the best box of pennies ever last night. First roll gave up a 1944d Munt Van Curacao. Pretty cool find. Second roll gave me my first IH, a 1899 in rooooough shape, but my first ever and my oldest coin found CRH! The rest of the box gave me 28 wheats from 1920d to 1958d. Oh and ANOTHER IH. 1907. I couldn't believe it. To top things off I got my 4th 2000 WAM, as well as a 1947 King George and a 1958 QE2 canadian. I was in heaven.
My second box gave me 16 wheats which is my second best box for wheats besides the above box.
    Here are my pictures :)

Thanks! I'm still super stoked about them. The 1899 IH has pretty good details under all the crud. I can make out almost all the letters in liberty and some of the feather details. Wish I could get that crap off of it. The Curacao is pretty awesome too. It was minted in Denver (the D mint mark is to the right of the date) during WW2 since The Netherlands was under Nazi control. 3 million were minted. This coin went from Denver to Curacao and then up to me in Maryland over the course of 69 years. That's pretty cool and why I like CRHing :)
