1974 penny error?

    Machine doubling. Not a doubled die.

    Thanks that helps alot. But my coin looks more like hub doubling than machine

    It's step like, a characteristic of MD; as opposed to separation, a characteristic of hub doubling.

    Ok thanks i c what ur saying. If it were hub i would b able to see the outline of the whole coin underneith. Correct?

    That happens because of a grease or debris filled die. Nothing major.
