Something cut by masters awed by collectors and owned by you. Steve you have to go over the top, I mean something like completely crazy. You have to find a Sprintia with the dog leash obverse, in high grade. :thumb:

Yah, on one hand I agree with you ... but on the other, I merely love "coins" ... I find that I end-up looking at and loving my sh*tty coins just as much as I look at and love my "show-case" coins ... know what I mean?

=> yah, "if" I did plan on selling these babies, then maybe you're right ... but I have a happy visual that one of my nieces and/or nephews will end-up pouring-over all of my coins and thinking that they are all "very cool" ...

NOTE => I admit that I love my recently purchased Heiron I Tet (it is by far my most expensive coin) ... however, I also love my Ionia/Teos Griffin/Kanthros just as much ... and the Griffin was $1000 cheaper than my precious ...

=> so, I do agree with you a bit ... but I think I'll get more pleasure outta 7 $200 fairly nic ecoins, than I would outta 1 super-cool $1400 coin ...

NOTE => but I ceratinly may still buy a few super-coins in my time!!

Those "sh*tty coins" cost around a quarter to half of my yearly budget!

 

Oops sorry ... yah, I merely meant when compared against my highest priced coin ... my highest prices coin is almost 7-times as much as my average coin (yes, I am an engineer and I keep stats associated with my highest, lowest, median, mean, etc, etc ... I'm a true geek at heart!!)
