My step son and I took in our first coin show today. We went to the Tidewater coin show in virginia Beach, Va. Pretty overwhelming to see the collections folks have. Learned quite a bit though and we enjoyed just looking through what people had brought. My son really likes the ancients. Not sure that is a good thing. ha. Here I am showing him Wheat Pennies and he is looking at Constantine.

Anyway, was pretty cool so thought I would share.

I don't know if ancients are a good thing but the fact that your son shows interest in any coin series is for sure a good thing. :thumb:

Sounds like fun! I still haven't been to a coin show yet.

Ancient coins are Great for YN's....

So many civilizations, plus lots of different coins with good detail can be bought for under $20 a coin :D

    I should know...
I'm a YN Ancient coin collector myself!
