    Does the U.S.Mint ever have any on (sale coins) or are they always full value price?

    Never seen what you'd call a "sale" on coins, but occasionally they have non-coin items on clearance, like the old canvas bags, books, and such.

    okay.. thanks... yeah thats what I meant Troodon.. I thought they might have some coins go on sale that were left over... but I guess they must melt them down or something....

    From what I've seen the prices go up on older items after the new year starts.

    I have seen them bring back "sold out" products years later and kill the market price of the item. I guess that is sort of a sale.

    Some of their commemoratives have an early release price, before the full retail price kicks in.
