Post Your Oldest Circulation Finds

A 1902 Canadian dime. It was even more surprising considering I don't live in Canada.

When I was kid of about 10 or 11 (1994-95), I got this in change at Richardson Food Court in Hartford, CT. I kept the coin because I thought I was cool and took one of the Pennies out of my loafer and replaced it with this. A fond coin related memory from childhood. 1898 Dime.

 

1909 lincoln AU VDB ( the whole reason i started collecting 4 years ago)

 

I found all these in circulation. The 1909 is the oldest.

 

1931 S Wheat Cent out of a Wal-Mart Self Check Out. Couldn't believe it. Now that is all I use. Less hands to pilfer through the change

 

Got handed to me at work, never made it to the drawer. (I traded for it of course)

those are my oldest coins, all found in my cash register, all in great shape for being circulated.

 

Mine was an 1888 morgan dollar in the trash bin inside a coinstar machine. We have one at work and people are always jamming it up with something, I gladly go fix the problem....

 

Mine is an 1885 V-Nickel... G details corroded, dug.

 

This year: a 1938 Jefferson. I got a bust dime once. Don't remember when though.

in a box with 7 buffs, 3 other v nicks in the 1900's and had some silver nicks too. 1888 IH. 1920 P quarter

Half 1942 about a year and a half ago
Dollar 1897 received in change in an A&W when I was a kid.

 

WOW!

 

Not my find but there was a guy on a metal detecting forum I belong to that got an 1818 Large cent as change recently. It was given to him as a quarter.
