I don't collect bills, but that one was made in 1950, so it's bound to have some value. Even if it didn't have value I'd keep it just because I enjoy that bill design.
At bare minimum it's worth at least $10 lol as it's still legal tender. Heck, I'd save it though, don't see many from 1950 in circulation anymore. In that condition probably not worth much over face value, but maybe a little, but I'd save it in any case.
It's awful rare (at least in my experience) to find anything that old in circulation. Rare find, and very cool! I'd keep it -L
If you're just getting into paper and keeping it won't prevent you from buying food or gas, then go right ahead and keep it. Is really not worth anything over face in that condition, but I would keep it because I always enjoy older bills. Nice find! :thumb:
I would keep it although I agree that its value doesn't exceed its face value by very much if anything.
That is a 1950 series A that I got back in change at a grocery store....I looked at it because it looked old and worn...and SURPRISE! 1950....a possible 63 year old bill.
Always loved the old style $10s with the Model T parked in front of the Treasury building. No Model T on the newer ones!
