Les Miserables Phopa

    Well I was at the movies this afternoon watching Les Miserables. I noticed a technical mistake. During the scean when John goes to the inn to get Cossette money is changing hands on the tables. The gold colored coins have the image of Napoleon III on them. The timeframe for this scean on the movie is the mid 1820's. These coins were not to be made for another 30 years, the 1850's. By the way the movie is great as good as the play. :p

    The filmmakers might have used larger than real size replicas
    for cinematic purposes.

    I will check it out when the film comes out on DVD for my
    "Coins in Movies" project.
