As before, this found among Dad's effects.

The double headed eagle suggests Russian, or Polish...but I'm guessing.

    Any ideas? Thanks, as always...

I cant say, but I believe it to be not russian or polish. In my older coins that are polish or germany have other writing than just the letter 1, but I have some coins that just say 1 and are from foriegn islands. So I just getting it appraized by an expert, because it looks legit, and it has the right aging.

The side opposite the date looks Russian but I can't find a single Russian coin that looks like. I suspected German or Polish possibly but no luck there either.

Knew someone would beat me to it lol... having the country to identify it, found it in the catalog, Krause #26 Austria 1 heller. 21,900 minted. Was listed as being worth $1 in uncirulated back in 1977 (I have a very old catalog lol...)
