I don't agree. Issues of Hilderic have a thicker, more pine-like wreath. I can't read the obverse legend, but it is either a normal late-Roman cross issue, or an unspecified imitation thereof.

Thanks for the source. I am also entertaining anyone that might be able to ID the coins. Or if someone agrees with my attribution. Any way thanks I always appreciate the responses.
It definitely looks similar to both types, both having basicly the same devices and both quite rough. With coin in hand you cannot make out the inscription? Probably DN HILDERIC REX...it looks like there might be an H.
Did you guys notice that both coins have slightly different wreaths. Unfortunately I can't read the inscription, but the "H" looking thing and the reverse lead me to this ruler. I did buy these rather inexpensively as "Perhaps Vandal" from a reputable dealer.
Not sure there's anything to read in the legends but it's true that the first one at least looks quite like the following (portrait, crude legends, doted border on rev., the 3 dots/bars below the cross)... http://www.icollector.com/Roman-Emp-The-Vandals-Huneric-2-1-2-nummi-0-68g_i9776858
Yes! Fabulous, I believe you have found the first one!!! Get cracking on number 2 ahahaha. Well If I take a $1000 unique coin and add few years to it, I would guess I would have at least a $200 coin. If they are both the "same" coin then I would think I did pretty well. '
