1972 Nichol DDO

    No. Beyond the severe circulation wear, this looks like a MD or damage of some sort to the date. The other lettering exhibits die deterioration as well as wear.

    I agree. Looks like the date took a hit on the lower part. Not a Doubled Die :(

    I agree with Sparks1951. I would hang onto it though. A good example of a conversation piece.

    I concur with our fellow enthusiasts. Not a DDO. There is a DDO for the date but a Philly specimen as I recall. Just the tail end of the 2 was affected.
