How does one go about getting rolls from these places? Are they like banks, or do you need to be a member to do anything with them? There is a bank in my city that isl ike that; you need to have an account to so much ask them for the time of day..
It all depends on how many rolls you expect to buy and what that credit unions policy is on that. If you only get a couple rolls i doubt they would care. If you want more than a couple or a box they will more than likely require you be a member.
I pick up 2 boxes of dimes per week at a local credit union and I am not an account holder. They've been so friendly and accommodating that I'm planning to open an account.
