I'm cleaning out some things and came across some cardboard flip things of 99,00,01 24k quarters. I also found a couple of old whiteman albums with about 100 wheats in them. Now both the quarters and pennies are kind of rough, not bad but rough. I'm just not sure if they are worth even trying to sell. This is not a sells pitch, just need options on if it's even worth trying to selling them. I don't want to just trash them is all.
Yes, an unfortunate feature in the title of a thread. It means you've really got to proof read that title line before you post. Or suffer a little fun being poked at you by your friendly forum members. Lord knows I make a few typos.
Only you can decide if it is worth trying to sell the coins, but from what you said, I am sure you understand that there is very little value here. You may wish to consider giving the coins to a deserving young person and hope that they spark and interest in the hobby. Over the years I've given away many partially filled low-end folders with mixed results, but it is still worth a shot. If you are able to do so, it may be worth checking the cents for any premium-worthy varieties. Personally, I would just trash the plated quarters, but to each his own.
