I've been noticing that almost every 2006 dime I get has the "P" mint mark on them but I don't see that mint mark listed in the red book for the 2006, the "P" starts in 1980 and goes through 2005, I just seems strange that "P" isn't shown on the 2006 when the other mints are. Thanks John
your right about the redbook not having a 2006p. i noticed that in 1980-2005 values did not include just the plain 1980-2005. ex. 1980p instead of just plain 1980. it is the same.
Good catch. I wonder if the Red Book rep is watching this forum. I know one of their rep's monitores the PCGS web site. Not long ago I compiled a list of the things I and others found wrong with the 2006 Red Book and sent it to Whitman. They rewarded me with a free book on the Morgan Dollars. I've already started such a list with the 2007 Edition and I'll add this error to that list. If your that good at finding things like that, keep it up and send to Whitman. You too may get a reward. They are an appreciative group.
I noticed it about 2 mos. ago and was starting to wonder if the dime with "P" mint was supposed to be in circulation, then thought that it had to be, because that's all I was getting, the "P" mint Is the bust on the new dimes smaller now?, it sure look's like it
