I gave up on that mission - we're getting gusts of wind up to 75mph. More than Sandy, supposedly. Back to watching your good fortune and sweet silver dreams! :p

I wouldn't be going outside in blizzard conditions, haha. I don't blame you... dig out when the wind goes away.

I didn't realize you did 10 boxes just today, when I read this earlier. Keep up that volume and you'll see those skunks turn into silver, sooner or later!

Yeah, I was getting kind of jealous by all of your big silver scores, and I'm now only working 29 hours a week at my job (so they don't have to give me benefits :( ), so I've been doing about 12-16 boxes a week now :)

I just did six boxes of halves and got a total of 1 67, 2 proofs not much of a show. I have six or eight more boxes en route. I'm hoping for more luck with them.

I love that fancy thing you do with the non-silver coins to double check. Can you teach me that? Anyways, great find!

I haven't done any CRH yet because of all the skunks I read about but that score makes me want to look into it for adding to my stack.

Dumped Thursday's and picked up $200 in dollars and $100 quarters from my CU. Got 2 hole filler sac's and a few decent ATB quarters. On the way home I decided to stop by a BofA that I've never been to. I gave the girl $60 for $30 nickels and $10 cents and any halves she could find. She only had one half and it was clad so I skipped on it but got the nickels and cents. She gave me the $20 back and I grabbed my change. One of the nickel rolls had a nice silver "P" sticking out at me. My first war ender. When I got home I went through them all and in that roll there were 9 pre 60's including 2 44P wars. Then I went to put my money back in my wallet and realized that she gave me a $10 and a $20, not two tens like I thought. So I'm up $10 and I got two wars.
Oh and the cents sucked. Only one barely recognizable 48. Still, not a bad morning. :)

    Today's results:

    $5 Pennies: 78 copper, 2 Canadian (one 1954) 1952D, 1957D.

    $20 Nickles: 1942P (Not War) 1949D, 2 X 1953D.

    $45 Dimes: Skunk.

    $250 Quarters: Skunk.

While waiting to dump, a guy saw I had a lot of rolls. He said he needed coins, so fine with me, I sold him the whole shebang. If he needed coins, he got them. If he is roll searching, all he's going to find are hole fillers worth face value. Should he need any, that is.

Thanks everybody. Sometimes you just get lucky, and sometimes it's hard work paying off. Two dream boxes since the new year... I'll call this one good luck/karma. :)
