Downsizing...10 Morgan dollars..1879O, 1900, 1921, 1921, 1889, 1890, 1921, 1890, 1880 and 1883O Value? Thank you in advance...
Impossible to say if there is any value above melt for these. The image is way to small. We would need detailed larger images, and both sides of the coins.
It would be better to get pictures individually from both sides. Get as close as you can to them without loosing focus also.
I'm starting to appreciate the Morgan's beauty. The ones I inherited are heavily circulated, so I originally thought they were pretty ugly. These look really nice.
Oh, and straight on. When you take photos at an angle they can give false impressions in regards to luster, dings etc.
I am terrible at taking pictures. The wife just got a new Macro lens for her iphone, so I will be good to go soon...
They make something like that?!? Guess i need to look into one as well since thats all i use for photos anymore
Just a quick look. They are circulated, and common date coins. Not anything with great commercial value, but better pictures will say more.
I would not certify any of those. Once you are finished paying for postage and certification fees you will be in the hole and won't recover.
I agree. Only if the coin is of significant value to make the postage and insurance worth the cost of the holder!
They are common dates, but are mostly in original shape (I think based on pics). If you need the money and/or want to roll the $ into something else, I bet if you posted on Ebay, you'd get close to $40-$45 each for most of them. After Ebay/PayPal take their cut (~11% = $5) and shipping (~$1 if you ship in regular envelope or $4 if you ship in a padded USPS envelope), you'll still get >$5 more than a nearby coin shop will offer you. Good luck
I'd hang on to them. Better than money in the bank as they say. Today silver is tanking, but that might not be the case forever.
