Our coins on Wildwinds

Dont think I have anything on WWs, I've also never submitted anything so not that surprising!

I do have coins that are not represented there just never got around to it - I guess it could be a kind of fun 'bucket list' pursuit for the amateur collector. I might submit some coins and see what happens.

I showed this picture to my dad and he said the peacock looks like it is riding on a golf cart. Never to be unseen.
Still IMO my favorite ancient.

I just had a quick look. For Probus, for RIC numbers 1 to 129, which covers Lugdunum, I have 74 coins on WildWinds. I would estimate that I have more than 200 altogether on Probus alone. With another couple of hundred other entries for Septimius Severus and about another 100 miscellaneous entries.

I have been adding to WildWinds since 2004.

I probable have another 100 or so coins that I should send to Dane to add.

Wow Mat => that's a great top-ten thread ...

=> yah, almost a year ago now, I did a 30-day addicition thread, where I stopped buying coins for 30 days and merely showed my best 30 coins instead (NOTE => I only had 30 coins at the time!!) ... but sadly, I do not have access t that thread anymore (*sigh*) ... anyway ...

=> ummm, but maybe some time in the near future I will try to do a "modern" top-10, showing my current 10 favourite coins out of my current "135" coin collection (wow, 135 coins in slightly less than one calendar year ... man, I really do have an addiction problem, eh?)

... oh well, it's better than being addicted to crack!! (isn't it?)

=> once again => that is a very cool top-ten thread (congrats!!)

 

As an experiment I submitted a couple of coins, both were accepted.

I guess if they don't already have it (and yours is in OK condition) and you make the effort to read and follow the suggestions when uploading its not too hard to get coins listed on the site.

Dane seemed like a really nice lady :thumb:

I'm a big believer that if you use a resource, at some point in the future you should (if possible) contribute something.

Might see if I have anything else worthy of upload in the near future.
